What we do: from old carpet tiles to new possibilities
Out with your old carpet, in with a better future. Our take back service collects used carpet tiles and repurposes them in the following ways:
- As secondhand tiles: If your carpet tiles are still in good shape, they'll be cleaned thoroughly and sold as secondhand items by our partners.
- As a resource for new tiles or backings: In our back2back-process, we recycle used carpet tiles with a bitumen backing into the backing of new carpet tiles. If your old carpet tiles have an ecoBack backing, we'll recycle them into new carpet tiles and yarns.
- As a resource for the cement industry: If your old carpet tiles cannot be resold or reused in our designs, they will be sent to an incineration plant to be used as secondary fuel and recycled as a resource for the cement industry

If we can not recycle the carpet tiles ourselves, we collaborate with local partners to reuse or recycle your old carpet tiles in the most sustainable way possible. Together, we're working to reduce waste and promote a greener future.
